Dear Sisters and Brothers:

Your Negotiating Committee met with the Company and the Federal Mediator on Tuesday, August 5th. We discussed the results of the vote and the Company's concern with the large no vote. We were prepared to give the Company a proposal which addressed the concerns of the membership. However, after a lengthy discussion, we were unable to present our proposal due to time constraints and the need to better define our proposals. Negotiations broke off around 8:00 p.m.

We will reconvene with the Company and Federal Mediator on Tuesday, August 12th.
