Dear Sisters and Brothers:

Just a reminder to make sure that you don't miss the open enrollment period for your medical benefits.  This is especially crucial if you were planning on enrolling into the EPO medical plan.  Please refer to your packet sent to you from Alliant Energy when enrolling online.  This packet will include your PIN number and will allow you to log in and make any necessary changes.

The important links for the tentative agreement are found at http://www.ibew965.com/Alliant%20Negotiations/important_links.htm  This includes the Providers list website for the medical, the "benefits now" website for enrolling in your various benefit options, and the Social Security Calculator for estimating your increased pension benefit.  You can also make enrollment changes via the telephone by calling 1-866-303-1891.  This must be done no later than December 12, 2003.
