Alliant Negotiations Update #40

Dear Sister or Brother:

Today, Monday, February 2, 2004 your Union Negotiating Committee met to prepare to go back to the table with the Company and the Mediator. We were scheduled to go back on Tuesday, February 3 but due to a delay with the Company and the Mediator, we will now be meeting on Thursday, February 5.

A tentative informational picket is being scheduled for Saturday, February 7 in Fond du Lac from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 noon. More details will follow in the next few days. If we reach a tentative agreement with the Company prior to Saturday and the plans change, we will send out an e-mail notification.

If you have questions, do not hesitate to contact the Union office at 259-2400. Please continue to stay involved and informed and remember to take the time to work safely.
