Dear Sisters and Brothers:

Today we met with the Company along with the Federal Mediator to continue negotiations.  It was our opportunity to give the Company proposals on what we feel will satisfy our committee and the members needs in order to reach a resolution to this negotiation process.  The Company was not able to give a response to our proposals today and felt that we will need to reconvene with another session at the table.

We will reconvene October 7, 2003 to continue negotiations.  Our committee understands that this continues to be a time of anxiety for all our members.  We ask for your patience and support as we continue to strive for a contract that is fair and equitable for all our members.  You have a great resource at for fingertips to continue to stay involved in these negotiations by logging in to our website and submit a comment.  You can find this by going to www.ibew965.com
