LEARN ABOUT IBEW ISSUES AROUND WISCONSIN

We have created a statewide IBEW List serve for Wisconsin .  The purpose of this list is to al low IBEW members around Wisconsin to be able to share ideas and get information.  The topics will be whatever the members of the List serve want to discuss.  It will be about politics, IBEW IO is sue s, referr al language, loc al contracts, work outlook around the state, Code Questions and whatever else the members want to bring up.

For those unfamiliar with the term, a List serve is an electronic email list you can join.  People who belong to the email list can send a message to the list by email and that email will be sent to everyone who is on the list.  You can have sever al different settings to control how you receive messages.  You can have each email that is posted sent to you immediately, have them al l put into one email per day, or just go to the website when you want and read them there.

We hope this list serve will help members learn about and feel more connected with their fellow members from around Wisconsin .  With the upcoming major projects around the state this can be a good way to learn about where the work is and what the outlook will be.  It can serve as a good way to find out how other loc al s work and stay more in touch with your own loc al .  Only IBEW members will be al lowed on the list serve so you will know that your messages are only going to your fellow brothers and sisters.

To sign up go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IBEWWI..  If you do not have a username with Yahoo you can create one there.  There is no cost for this service and you will not be put on any commerci al mailing lists by signing up.  Once you have signed up you can send messages to the group by sending an email to IBEWWI@yahoogroups.com.
